This paper describes the planning in manufacturing systems. The skeleton and the functionality of a Petri Net Toolbox, embedded in the Matlab environment, are briefly presented, as offering a collection of instruments devoted to simulation, analysis and synthesis of discrete event systems. Timed Petri Nets are used to model operational and routing in production systems. A generalized multi productive machine modules is defined, adapter to system feature, repeated and connected to compose the TPN models of production systems with different levels of routing and operation. The present paper approaches the stochastic medium considered to be fundamental in describing the changes and the aleatory variations during the desertion process of machines and blocking times in the processing activity. We intend to present a simulated model according to which we can establish the time variation and the outputs process in a simple production system.Petri Nets, discrete event, manufacturing systems

    TRANSPORT CHARACTERISTICS IN AUTOMATED PRODUCTION

In the paper manufacturing automation systems is divided into two classes: rigidautomation and flexible automation. The paper intends to highlight the decrease of transportation timewithin production processes as a result of transportation optimization. The objectives of currentindustry are: product quality and productivity increase, decreasing delivery time, the need to improveworking conditions, the use of specifications for each product. They are analyzed by tracing thetransportation time of a production company form Alba Iulia.manufacturing, transportation optimization, Petri, Markov process, systems flexibility

Purpose of the paper is to analyze the Petri net model, to describe the transport process, part of amanufacturing system and its dynamics.A hibrid Petri net model is built to describe the dinamics of the transport process manufacturingsystem. Mathematical formulation of the dinamycs processes a detailed description. Based on this model, theanalysis of the transport process is designed to be able to execute a production plan and resolve any conflictsthat may arise in the system. In the analysis dinamics known two stages: in the continuous variables are discrete hybrid system in thehibrid discrete variables are used as safety control with very well defined responsibilities. In terms of the chosen model, analyze transport process is designed to help execute a production planand resolve conflicts that may arise in the process, and then the ones in the syste

In the paper developing we started from a model that allows a detailed decoding of causalrelationships and getting the laws that determine the evolution of the phenomenon. The model chosen for the study is a discrete event system applicable to optimize the transport systemused in pottery. In order to simulate the manufacturing process we chose Matlab package that contains pntoollibrary, by which can be realized modeling of analyzed graphs. Since the timings of manufacture are very highand the process simulation is conducted with difficulty, we divided the graph according to the transport system

Abstract: This paper describes the planning process in flexible manufacturing systems. Flexible manufacturing system consisting of machines, computers, robots and automated guided vehicle. The skeleton and the functionality of a Petri Net Toolbox, embedded in the MATLAB environment, are briefly presented, as offering a collection of instruments devoted to simulation, analysis and synthesis of discrete event systems. The integration with the MATLAB [1] philosophy responds to the general interest manifested by educators for enlarging the compatibility between the traditional background of Control Engineering applications and the novelty of discrete-event-systems scenarios. It explains a scheme of labelling and firing which makes modelling convenient for complex systems whose constraints are difficult to express only in terms of firing duration. The system manufacture choose is from the undertake S.C. APULUM S.A. Alba Iulia. Timed Petri nets are used to model operational and routing flexibility in production systems. A generalized multi-productive machine module is defined, adapted to system feature, repeated and connected to compose the TPN models of production systems with different levels of routing and operation flexibility
